Autumn and winter social tennis

As we approach autumn and winter we can still enjoy tennis from October 1st to 31st march by use of the courts at the weekend. The club has decided that we will try a Sunday morning social tennis session from 10:30 to 1:00.

Last year we ran a Sunday evening session and although some players played for a number of weeks it fell by the wayside when poorer weather came.  It meant some weeks the floodlights, which had to be set on a timer during the winter, came on for two hours with no players.    

So set the alarms for a regular Sunday morning session on the courts!

As in previous years, it will be the responsibility of players to put a net out to play and to put it away afterwards.
