Midweek Mixed team start with a win

The Midweek Mixed team has won the first match of the season - without hitting a ball in anger.  With the team of Richard Halpin and Julie Pycock, Mick Mason and Chrissie Majchrzak ready to face visitors Ecclesall on Tuesday (22nd) the visitors conceded late on Monday night - being unable to raise a second lady.

The team gain maximum points, rubbers and games by vitue of the concession.  The team's next match is away at Brentwood next Tuesday.   Don't forget to check the S & D website for all  the other results.
