Men's "B" team lose out at Mexborough

The Men's "B" team gave a fighting performance but lost out 2-7 to Mexborough "B" in a scoreline that flattered the victors.

Alan and Mark Firth lost to the first and second couples in championship tie-breaks but beat the number three couple by 6-1, 6-1.  John Firth and Mick Walker beat the thirds in another championship tie-break, but lost to the first and second whilst Dave Cottereill and Danny Beevers lost their three but had a great match against the thirds losing on a championship tie-break after sets of 7-6, 6-7. 

It was danny's first match for the club so welcome to the teams Danny. Hope you enjoyed it.
